MISSION: The 7th Sustainment Brigade is the "Army's Navy." The brigade is the only Composite Sustainment Brigade within the Active Component of the U.S. Army. Our Soldiers have served honorably around the world in times of conflict since the brigade's activation in 1942. Recent missions include the deployment of the brigade's headquarters element to Afghanistan in February of 2011 to the deployment of the 10th Transportation Battalion's 155 Inland Cargo Transfer Company to Afghanistan in July of 2011. DESCRIPTION: The 7th Sustainment Brigade, located at Fort Eustis, Va. (Joint Base Langley-Eustis) and Fort Story, Va. (Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story) provides logistic support anywhere, at any time in any environment. Elements of the brigade's six battalions and their companies are deployed at any given time supporting a number of global missions to include Kuwait, U.S. Army South, Iraq and Afghanistan.
