ActionAid Myanmar AAM

ActionAid Myanmar (AAM) has worked in Myanmar since 2006 although there were some initiatives in 2001. We work in partnership with people and partners both local and international; to challenge the injustice and imbalance of power that keeps people poor. We do this by knitting together our work with local communities, national governments and international campaigns and institutions. Working with the poorest and most vulnerable people across Myanmar, we help people to claim their rights to food, basic healthcare, work, education and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
