Fans would know Alfie as one half of chart topping duo Hudson Taylor, but Alfie Hudson Taylor is very much a brand new solo artist. He toured the world playing shows with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Hozier, achieving number 1 albums and selling out tours. This may sound impressive however on the day Hudson Taylor’s sophomore album reached number 1, Alfie had -80 euro in his bank account. On the outside it looked like success, however Alfie struggled to understand how even successful artists fail to make a living wage.
