Im Jahr 2005 gründeten Tax-5 und Master K das temporäre Projekt "ALOBAR" um an einem Musik-Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Der Name ALOBAR entstammt einem Preset aus dem Yamaha CS2x Synthesizer.
Nach Ablauf der Teilnahmefrist ging das Projekt vergessen und wurde nicht weiter verfolgt.
Im Frühjahr 2006 trafen sich die beiden Musiker erneut zu einer Jam-Session im frisch eingerichteten Studio 4 von Tax-5 und produzierten diverse Experimental Tracks - In diesem Moment wurde das Projekt ALOBAR erneut aufgegriffen, diesmal jedoch mit dem klaren Konzept, Ambient Musik zu produzieren.
