Annie Helman

Hi, my name is Annie and I'm a composer. My style is mostly neo-classical, but I also experiment with various other styles like renaissance, baroque, classical and even ragtime. I have recently been composing a lot of music for the recorder. Many of my pieces for various recorder combinations have found their way to my channel, as I find it is a beautiful and extremely underrated instrument. Fortunately it is currently enjoying an impressive comeback - after having been silent for over two hundred years (except in primary schools).
