My name is Jim, and I've liked trains at least since I was 5 years old and my parents bought a house that had the Jewell Subdivision in Ames, Iowa running behind the back yard. On my channel, you'll find a couple of vintage videos that I took as 8mm films in 1979 & 1981, as well as more recent videos of Union Pacific's steam locomotive, UP 844; their E units: 949, 950, & 951; UP's Bailey Yard; most of UP's heritage locomotives; and lots of other Union Pacific trains, often including foreign power. I occasionally venture afield and shoot BNSF trains on their southern Iowa transcon; Iowa Interstate trains (including one of their two Rock Island heritage units); a few Canadian National trains on their track; and even some commuter and freight trains in Brazil.
