Asemic Writer

I am Asemic Writer aka MK JCBSN or Michael Jacobson. I am a writer of books and an artist from Minnesota. My latest book is 'Writ Bodies Ov Titivillus.' I am also the author of an abstract-illuminated manuscript titled 'id est: neo scribalist asemic expressionism.' In 2022, I published a prose poetry novella called 'Somnolent Game.' In 2020, I published an autobiographical collection of ribald senryu poems titled 'Hei Kuu' which means "hello moon" in Finnish. My first collection of asemic writing and visual poetry is 'Works & Interviews.' In 2017, I started publishing books of asemic writing, experimental literature, and noise poetry at Post-Asemic Press. I formerly curated the influential blog galleries The New Post-Literate: A Gallery of Asemic Writing and the sci-fi blog THAT: A Plan(et). Currently, I am working on a solo acoustic guitar album titled You Make The Devil Look Good. All the videos on this site are basic creative experiments, a few are collaborations with other poets.
