Bat Toast

Welcome to The Real Bat Toast. I enjoy Super Heroes, Action Figures, DC Comics, First Comics, and Marvel too. I also like the classic Universal Monsters, Science Fiction, Mad Magazine, John Zacherle, Screen Thrills Illustrated, and Forrest J. Ackerman's "Famous Monsters of Filmland." I was among the first ever Nerds. I say it proudly. I had the first action figures; GI Joe (12 inch) and James Bond / Sean Connery (12 inch). Sadly, neither one survived to this day. I once owned the greatest toy ever, Great Garloo, a reptilian robot that I controlled. (Google it) I watched the Adventures of Superman on TV with George Reeves (RIP) when he was still alive in the 1950's. I saw the world premiere Pilot episode of The BATMAN TV show in 1966 with Adam West and Burt Ward. I saw "SUPERMAN The Movie" in the movies when it came out in 1978. You get the idea.
