Celesta da Vinci

Celesta da Vinci (Mireya Derksen) is a Dutch crossover singer and composer with a vocal range of three octaves. She sings different genres and loves to mix music styles in her own songs, like symphonic rock, classical and Celtic music. Her authentic sound gets a personal touch with her fascination for the universe, science and fantasy worlds. You'll hear these themes coming back in her music very often. In 2018 she won an award for her paper about string theory and mathematical dimensions and now she studies (astro)physics at Open University. In 2017 she participated at Das Supertalent (RTL Germany) and in 2020 she reached the semi-finals of We Want More (SBS6). At the end of 2022 Mireya published her cinematic music composition 'The Fantasy Rhapsody' on platforms like Spotify. In the music video, which you can find on her YouTube channel, you'll see the beautiful sand paintings by De Zandtovenaar. In 2024 Celesta performed in the shows of the Celtic Steps Christmas Tour.
