Christopher Jon Honett

Chris is a producer with Shameless Redhead (www.shamelessredhead.com), musician, and experimental art music composer who also writes, edits and directs. He holds a PhD in music composition from Harvard University. Chris has held administrative roles in New York City, San Francisco, and Boston, having served as Executive Director of the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Executive Director of the Manhattan Sinfonietta, Director of the Harvard Group for New Music, and owner of a small international NYC- based music business. In 2008, he produced the U.S. Premiere of Martin Matalon's score to Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" in Manhattan with live projection, quadrophonic sound, and 16 of New York City's top musicians. Chris is also co-author of "The Listen," a book geared toward anyone curious about new music. He currently composes and manages a variety of independent production activities from Los Angeles.
