In 2008, Joe Boisits and Evan Martin met in junior high school and would go on to spend their formative years writing and recording songs in Martin's basement in Long Island, New York. They continued to develop multiple bands throughout the 2010's with Andrew Frey on drums and Bob-o Vetri on keys. After performing at dozens of venues in New York such as Webster Hall, the group ultimately disbanded in 2016. Over the years, Martin and Boisits continued recording demos for various projects. At the height of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, they were first introduced to vocalist Tom Frank at Suffolk Recording Studios and immediately began recording records for their debut 2023 release.
