Bruce, often called Perch Man, is the founder and designer of Ausyfish Pty Ltd. Bruce has been involved with fish at a commercial level for over 40 years. Bruce regularly visits farms and hatcheries in Asian countries to provide "hands on" training for staff and owners. Bruce's experience has been gained during the decades of commercial development for Australian native freshwater fish. Bruce was the first ever to breed many species, including sleepy cod, known as soon hock in Asia. Bruce was one of the first to ever spawn jade perch. He has now been breeding jade perch continually, longer than anyone currently in the industry. Bruce was a member of the expedition to Central Australia when the first jade perch were collected for breeding.
