Lauriejeanne composer

Welcome! My name is Laurie Jeanne Crockett and the intention of my music is to calm the soul and cheer the heart, and so I hope you find a bit of respite here. I compose adult contemporary piano solos, contemporary sacred pieces for piano and voice, and musical theater. Sheet music is available for much of my work. My most recent project is "A Simple Life: Contemporary Folk Piano Meditations" recorded at Subcat Studios in Syracuse, NY on their Yamaha C7 grand piano. I also produced a 2016 Christmas album, "Christmas Past Christmas Present" with vocals, also recorded at Subcat, and released in 2017 as piano tracks only. In 2017 I also composed and directed "President Roosevelt is Coming to Jordanville: A Brief Musical," the process of which I chronicled here in 13 weekly episodes. The Christmas album features arrangements of 17th and 18th century European carols as well as five original pieces. Original choral works include a Christmas cantata and Passion Cantata.
