This collection of singable songs is put out in the spirit of Carl Sanburg's "The American Songbag" (1927) where the dedication read as follows... To those unknown singers - who made songs - out of love, fun, grief - and to those many other singers - who kept those songs living things of the heart and mind - out of love, fun, grief.
