M. David Litwa

This channel is called Gnosis. It's a space for atheists, religious burnouts, modern gnostics and Hermeticists to find awakening and spiritual meaning. I'm Dr. David Litwa, a scholar of ancient Mediterranean religions with a focus on early Christianity and alternative (gnostic) Christianities. In 2013, I received my Ph.D. from the Religious Studies department at the University of Virginia (UVA). Prior to that, I received an M.Div at Emory University and a Th.M. at Duke University.
