Nikola Antonov

Nikola Antonov is an alumnus of the Orthodox Seminary “St. John of Rila”, Sofia, Bulgaria. A long-standing member of the Greek Byzantine choir “Δομέστοκοι” under the conduction of Mr. Gregory Papaemmanuil, Archon Protopsaltis of the Patriarchate of Alexandria. Studied Byzantine music in the class of Mr. Gregory Papaemmanuil in the Municipal Conservatory of Kavala, Greece, with a diploma for a teacher of Byzantine music. Currently a festive chanter at the Nativity of Christ Church, Mladost, Sofia. Practiced in the Byzantine chanting at Mr. Grigoris Daravanoglu, Archon Maestor of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and Mr. Photis Giannakakis, Archon Protopsaltis of the Constantinople Archbishopric. Teaches in his own school of church music at the Church of the Nativity, Sofia, Bulgaria.
