The Vann Cave

Welcome to The Vann Cave. My name's Matt, and I retired in 2019 from 28 years in law enforcement. I worked as a peace officer in Texas and as a Port Security Specialist (now called MLE) in the United States Coast Guard. I'm a collector of hobbies, as are my friends, and we love to meet up and talk about any number of things like conspiracy theories to shooting sports, arts, science, and, recounting our adventures. I usually visit with local folks and have recently started bringing in some of my favorite pro musicians, authors, and podcasters. My career ended due to stage 4 cancer, so the podcast has been a great way to spend some of my retirement time and talk about things that contribute to a life well lived.
