Welcome to the BA&B RailRoad. To begin, I will tell you a little about the railroad. The layout was originally constructed in my basement back in April of 2010. At that time, I only planned to have a single main line built with Lionel Fastrack with no plans for any mountains! As you can see, that all changed very quickly. In late summer 2010, I started construction on the original mountain. The mountain looked horrible and was taken down in January 2011. After much thought, I realized the need for more mountains, more tunnels and more track on the layout. I decided to add a second level running between the two mountains. In order to do this, I was forced to move the town to the front of the layout and away from its original location, which is now completely covered by a mountain. Although I removed the town, I did not take out any of the streets or sidewalks in case I ever felt the need to move it back. Those features still remain underneath the mountain.
