Grounded in the vision of Equality, UN Women Africa is the regional champion for women and girls that follows the overall UN Women agenda. It acts on the premise that every woman has the right to live a free life from violence, poverty, and discrimination, and that gender equality is central to achieving development. Our country offices include Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa (Multi-Country Office), South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
